Take a guided tour

On the second Saturday of every month (May to September) come and  join the Tap’s own James Reid for a 2.5 hour guided tour around  Tap o’ Noth Farm. You will be lead around our expanding permaculture food gardens and animal systems, gaining an insight into how we work with nature to design and run an ecologically designed smallholding in the north east of Scotland. On this informative and detailed walk you will also have the opportunity to learn about:

  • Organic kitchen gardening 
  • Mulching
  • Composting and natural fertilizers
  • How to keep and use poultry in your garden
  • Forest Gardening
  • Small and large livestock
  • Market Gardening
  • Appropriate Gardening Tools

Plus much more…….So bring your notepad as there will be a lot to take in!

We are also happy to tailor the tour to your specific needs and interests.

Price:– £15.00 per person

Tours of the site can be arranged outwith the open day dates, organised by appointment. Please note that due to scheduling these tours will be charged at £20 per person. Group discounts are available.

We would be grateful if you could please contact us first before arriving for a tour so we know how many people will be attending. You can do this by completing the below contact form.
